Please read the instructions below this size chart before ordering. We have indicated whether this size chart uses body or garment measurements in the notes below the size chart. Allow 1cm variance for all garment measurements (as an example a 56cm garment measurement has a variance of 55-57cm. Please factor that into deciding on the size to order.)

⊙ We have shown the Body measurement for the full chest in the size chart above. Body measurements are approximates.
⊙ For the Full Chest Body measurement measure around your body: under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest.
⊙ The Waist measurement matches the chest measurement for all sizes - apart from Small and Medium where the waist measurement is marginally less than the chest (about 2 cm less on the full waist measurement).
⊙ Garment Measurements - the best way to work out the size you need: To assist you with choosing the right size, we have also included the garment measurements for the Half Chest for this shirt below. If you are not sure which size to order, we recommend checking both the body and garment measurements - but using garments measurements is the best way to work out your size. If you are still not sure about your size please do contact us so we may assist you, before you order. It may also be a good idea to first place a smaller order to check on your size, and then place a larger order once you are sure of your size.
⊙ How to Measure the half chest garment measurement for this shirt:
-Select a long sleeve, button-up, collared shirt which you own and which is a good fit - and which looks similar in design to the shirt which you are ordering.
-Place the shirt flat on a table. The half chest measurement is made from the point where each sleeve meets the chest area of the shirt, across the front of the shirt, as shown on the image below.
-It is important that you gently pull the shirt flat from each side so that it is truly as flat as it can be, as we have shown in the image below. No creases or wrinkles as that will affect the measurement.
-Record the measurement for your shirt in either inches or centimeters.
-Compare the measurement to our size chart to determine the size to order, as follows:
1. Lets say that your measurement comes to 53cm / 20.6 inches across the half chest.
2. Allow 1cm tolerance for our size chart (the international standard for all clothing measurements). As an example, with the international tolerance included, our Medium shirt in the garment size chart below is 'allowed' to measure between 55 and 57cm, as the half chest measurement is 56cm.
3. For your shirt which measured 53cm / 20.6 inches, we would suggest that you order a Medium shirt. Should you prefer to wear your shirts more loose, then a Large may fit you too.

Introduction:
The most effective way to protect your skin from the sun is to cover up in sun protective clothing. This starts with a long-sleeved UPF shirt. For safari and warm-weather travel and summertime outdoor pursuits, this demands ultra-lightweight fabric and features that balance sun protection with cooling and comfort. The Men’s SAFARITech Sun Shirt offers a range of high-performance features that are designed for safari and made for everywhere warm-weather wear.
SAFARITech is ultra-lightweight micro-ripstop fabric that’s both durable and luxurious for easy all-day wear. The weave of the fabric provides built-in UPF50+ protection (and the thickness is difficult for mosquitoes to bite through). The fabric wicks moisture away from the skin and dries quickly, with the added airflow from the +Vent system on the back shoulder seams working to keep you cool.
If you’re looking to pack light for safari, multi-day camping trips, or adventure travel, lightweight fabric is quick-drying so you can wash and go with ease. Creases release quickly, so you’ll look smooth even on the move.
The long sleeves provide to-the-wrists protection. Whenever the convenience of short sleeves is needed, simply roll up and secure sleeves using the double roll-up sleeve tabs on each sleeve. When sleeves need to be kept out of the way, this is the best system to secure them neatly.
The handy sunglasses loop on the inside of the shirt allows you to hook your sunglasses to your shirt for a little extra peace of mind. The shirt also has two chest pockets with velcro fastening and a zipped security pocket that’s perfect for stowing your passport or small valuables when you’re on the move.

This strong, light material offers you comfort, style, and protection outdoors, on safari, and when travelling. Creases are quickly released after unpacking and the fabric is quick to dry for your convenience.
⊙ BUILT-IN UPF50+ SUN PROTECTION: SAFARITech fabric construction offers built-in UPF50+ sun protection. This means it protects your skin from harmful UVA and UVB sun exposure - in effect, sunblock for your clothing. This is the highest UPF rating for garments.
⊙ WICKING: Strong, cool SAFARITech fabric draws perspiration away from skin and promotes quick evaporation for maximum dryness and comfort.
