How to order the right size hat size:
• To measure your head correctly you will need to measure at the fullest part of your head where your hat will sit, which will be just above your ears. Please use this measurement to determine the size above. It is best to select a hat size which has an Inner Crown measurement slightly larger than your head size.
• Please note that the canvas Barmah hats have no room to stretch whereas the leather hats have approximately 1cm of stretch - but that stretch would only be as the hat is worn repeatedly over time.
• UK and US hat sizes given below are our approximates of the equivalent hat size in either country. Please leave the size chart in "cm" rather than "inches" to view these correctly.

We prefer to flat pack our hats when we travel keeping the brim as flat as possible and without anything around it to crush it.

This full-grain cattle hide leather hat has a natural finish to show its genuine leather qualities. Similar to the Barmah Squashy Oiled Safari Hat, its smoother finish is designed to look old with style.
The leather is soft which makes this hat very comfortable to wear and gives it a snug fit. It has attachments for a chin strap should you be worried about your hat falling off, although, in our experience, when fitted correctly, the leather Barmah hats do stay on your head even at full gallop.
The wide all-round brim offers UPF50+ sun protection, protecting your face and neck against the sun’s harsh UV rays. This is a must on safari in Africa and for your protection and comfort during any outdoor activities, sports, and hobbies.
The Barmah Foldaway Bronco Full Grain Leather Safari Hat is twice-foldable and comes with its own hat bag for ease of packing.
