Great colour, soft silky fabric but you need to size down a couple of sizes. I’m a uk 8-10 and XS was too large.

While we recommend a long-sleeve safari shirt in our technical fabrics as the ideal shirt for Africa, there is no denying that a simple safari tee is a lovely thing to wear for comfort and easy style when travelling. Whether you opt for the silky rayon/spandex blend or for the practical benefits of our T-Liteful polycotton, this is not your ordinary T-shirt. Both fabrics provide an extremely soft hand feel. This elevates it to the status of luxury and feels great against your skin.
Whether you’re relaxing during more sedentary pastimes or going on an expedition-based safari with active activities, what you wear is all about comfort. It’s hard to beat the easy wearing, feather-light Serengeti Safari T-Shirt, which is super-comfy on every leg of your travels or to wear back home.
For travel or multi-day adventures, T-Liteful polycotton provides practical features. This includes superior wicking and it dries quickly and releases creases fast, which is great for packing – and packing light – on safari.
As with all our products, we needed to be sure this T-shirt performed in Africa. The rayon Serengeti T-Shirt was safari-tested and expedition-tested on three rivers in Zambia and the T-Liteful version was worn on a cross-Tanzania safari. We stand by the belief that this is a top you will love wearing on safari. It’s so comfortable, in fact, it’s the kind of shirt we are sure you will wear often – long after your safari is over. It is worth noting though that, while we have safari and expedition tested this shirt, it is not a high-performance technical shirt, as with our BUGTech range.
⊙ The rayon/spandex shirt fabric achieves its luxurious feel by using a micro-fibre construction. When you unpack your Women's Serengeti V-neck Safari T-Shirt for the first time you may notice marks on the shirt. Please note that these are not permanent stains or marks. When we iron each shirt before packing them, some of the micro-fibres end up in the opposite orientation to the others, and then it looks like a stain or mark, when actually it is not. When the shirt is washed and hung up to dry, then the stain or mark disappears.

Nice relaxed fit and lovely shades, perfect for layering. I’m a size 12 and ordered the small; the V isn’t too low either. I wanted one in each colour but ordered two of the same by mistake, so had to return and exchange. The customer service from The Safari Store is excellent, I couldn’t recommend them enough
